Frequently asked questions
Everything a careful buyer asks before trusting a system with their business — numbers exact, limits admitted.
Pricing & billing
How much does Dailybuz cost?
₹599 per user per month, or ₹499 per user per month billed annually. Every module — CRM, HR, accounting, retail, projects and the WhatsApp inbox — is included at that price; there is no higher tier that unlocks features. Prices exclude GST, and 18% GST is added at checkout with the split shown.
Is GST included in the price?
Per-seat prices are quoted excluding GST, which is the business convention in India. At checkout, 18% GST is added and the invoice shows base, GST and total separately, computed on the discounted base if a coupon was applied.
What is a seat?
One seat is one person who can sign in. You buy as many seats as you have people, and the system enforces it — a workspace cannot hold more members than its seats, and one login cannot be shared across devices (signing in on a second device signs the first out).
Do you offer discounts or coupons?
Yes. Coupon codes are entered on the billing page at checkout and apply a percentage off the pre-GST amount. Annual billing is itself about 17% cheaper than monthly — ₹499 a month equivalent against ₹599.
Who actually charges my card?
Payments are processed by Daylink Tech Labs Private Limited, the company behind Dailybuz — your card statement reads "Daylink". Checkout happens on daylink.in through Razorpay; card details are entered on Razorpay's PCI-DSS systems and are never seen by us.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from Settings → Billing, in one click, owner-only. Because payments are one-off (nothing auto-charges), cancelling means we stop asking for money: access continues to the end of the period you already paid for, and you can resume until then. Trials can be cancelled the same way and are never charged.
The free trial
How does the free trial work?
Seven days of the complete product — every module, the team size you choose at signup — with no card required. When the trial ends you pay to continue or your workspace pauses; your data stays intact either way and is waiting when you subscribe.
What happens to my data if I don't subscribe?
Nothing is deleted when a trial expires — the workspace pauses behind a payment notice and reopens exactly as you left it when you subscribe. If you want your data removed instead, email support and we delete the workspace.
WhatsApp & channels
How does WhatsApp work in Dailybuz?
You connect your WhatsApp Business number through Meta's official Cloud API. Every staff member answers from one shared inbox, each conversation attaches to the customer's record, and broadcasts use approved templates. You keep the number your customers already have.
Are WhatsApp messages unlimited?
Each subscription includes 5,000 conversations per month, pooled across the whole workspace. Meta charges per conversation beyond that, and those charges are passed through at cost — we do not mark them up.
Which other channels are supported?
Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger and email land in the same shared inbox as WhatsApp, attached to the same customer records.
Data, security & access
Who owns the data I put in?
You do, without qualification. Contacts, invoices, books and documents export from the product, and if you leave we delete what you ask us to delete.
How does Dailybuz keep tenants separated?
Every table is protected by database-level row security (Postgres RLS) keyed to your workspace, enforced in the database rather than in application code — so even an application bug cannot read another tenant's rows.
Can one login be shared between people?
No, by design — seats are the pricing unit, so one account is one active device. Signing in on a second device signs the first one out immediately, and every sign-in is logged with device and IP for the workspace's audit trail.
Can I control what each employee sees?
Yes. Role-based permissions control every module and action — an employee can be limited to punch-in, timesheets and their own requests, while HR sees the whole module. Custom roles are included on every plan.
AI features
What does the AI actually do?
Five things, all in places where the work already happens rather than in a separate assistant panel. It suggests a reply while you are typing in the WhatsApp inbox. It summarises a long conversation so somebody picking it up does not read forty messages. It drafts the line items of a quotation from the deal. It writes and illustrates social posts, including generating images and short video. And it can answer WhatsApp messages automatically when nobody is at the desk.
Does it reply to customers on WhatsApp by itself?
Only if you switch that on. The auto-reply chatbot is per workspace and off by default, because a wrong answer sent automatically is worse than a slow one sent by a person. With it off, the AI still drafts a suggested reply and a human presses send. When it is on and a colleague steps into the conversation, the bot pauses itself rather than talking over them.
Which AI model does it use?
It is provider-neutral: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, xAI Grok and Groq are all supported, and the workspace chooses both the provider and the model. That matters more than which is best this quarter — a product tied to one provider inherits that provider's outages, price changes and content rules.
Is my business data used to train anybody's model?
No. Calls go to the provider the workspace configured, for that one request, and nothing is contributed to training. If that still is not acceptable, every AI feature can be left switched off and the rest of the product works unchanged — none of them are load-bearing.
Does the AI cost extra?
No — the features are included in the per-user price, and they work without any setup. A workspace that would rather use its own model provider account can enter its own API key in settings and be billed by that provider directly; leave it blank and it uses ours at no extra charge.
Inventory & stock
Does it track batch numbers and expiry dates?
Yes, per item. Batch-tracked goods go out oldest-expiry-first rather than oldest-arrival-first, which is the distinction that matters for anything perishable. Expired stock can be blocked from sale outright — a pharmacy needs that and a hardware shop does not, so it is a setting rather than a rule. Serial numbers are held per unit for items tracked that way.
Can I hold stock in more than one warehouse?
Yes, and warehouses form a tree — "Mumbai" can contain a godown and a shop, and the group shows the total of everything underneath it. Stock never posts to a group, only to a shelf, so a balance is never both a stored number and a sum of its children. Transfers move stock between them as one document. A warehouse can be marked as in transit, and a lorry's contents are then left out of what a branch actually holds.
Does stock value reach the accounts automatically?
If you switch on perpetual inventory, yes: every movement posts a journal, so stock value and the balance sheet cannot drift apart. It is off until a workspace chooses it, because switching it on mid-life needs opening entries for stock already held and doing that silently would misstate the books. Cost of goods sold is known at the moment of sale, not at month end.
Can I add freight and customs duty to the cost of goods?
Yes — a landed cost voucher spreads charges across the lines of a receipt, by value or by quantity, and raises the valuation of the stock those goods became. It restates the receipt's own entries rather than posting a separate adjustment, so the moving average is right for every sale in between. With perpetual inventory on, the charge moves out of the expense it was booked to and into stock value, so it is not counted twice.
What if I buy in cases and sell singles?
Each item has a stock unit and as many conversions as it needs. Receive a case of 24 and 24 pieces land on the shelf; the rate divides with it, so a case at ₹240 is ₹10 a piece. The ledger holds one unit per item whatever anybody typed, because a balance in mixed units means nothing.
Can I close a month so nobody changes it afterwards?
Yes. A period closing snapshots what was held on a date, and a stock freeze stops anything posting on or before it — not a back-dated receipt, not a correction, not a scheduled job. The two belong together: closing without freezing leaves the snapshot true only until somebody back-dates into the period. Stock can also be reserved against an order, so two people cannot promise the same last unit.
Does it tell me when to reorder?
Reorder levels are set per item and per warehouse, and what is already on order counts towards the figure, so the same thing is not ordered twice. When stock falls below the level it raises a material request rather than an email nobody reads. Barcode scanning on receiving and picking is not built yet.
How do I know the stock figures are right?
The ledger is append-only — a mistake is cancelled and the balances close up, with the original still there to explain. Eight integrity checks run against it and report where a derived number and the ledger disagree, which is the thing to run first when a figure looks wrong. A count asks what is actually on the shelf and works out the difference itself rather than asking anybody to compute it.
Product & migration
I only need the CRM. Am I paying for software I will not use?
You are paying for the platform, not for a list of modules, so there is nothing to switch off and nothing to save by using less. Use the CRM today and ignore the rest. The value shows up later: when you do need payroll or stock or a POS, you do not buy another product, create another account, learn another system, move your data across or add another subscription — it is already there, already holding your customers and your books.
What happens when new modules are released?
They are included, at the same price, on the day they ship. The plan buys access to the platform rather than to a fixed set of modules, which is why the pricing page does not count them — a number that is right today is wrong the week the next one lands.
Can it really replace my CRM, HR tool, billing app and project tracker at once?
That is the design: one database where the sale, the payslip, the stock movement and the project invoice are rows in the same books. Most teams start with two modules and switch the rest on as subscriptions elsewhere lapse. The comparison page states honestly where specialist tools remain deeper.
Which currencies does Dailybuz support?
Fourteen: INR, USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SGD, AUD, CAD, JPY, CNY, BRL, ZAR, NGN and MXN. Each workspace picks its operating currency in Settings and every deal, invoice, ledger and report renders in it. Two honest boundaries: a workspace runs in one currency at a time (multi-currency books with exchange differences are on the public roadmap), and the Dailybuz subscription itself is billed in INR.
How do I get my existing data in?
Contacts, products and opening balances import from CSV. Run a real week of your business through it in the 7-day trial before committing, and your accountant can keep receiving exports at year end.
What is on the roadmap?
The public roadmap on the compare page lists what is planned, and marks which items are in progress — including e-invoicing (IRN), e-way bills, bank reconciliation, credit notes, recurring invoices, deeper statutory payroll and multi-currency. Items leave that list only when they ship, never when they are merely started.
